Home of Caronimals, Freehaven Farm, Ltd. is located just minutes off of I-385 in Simpsonville, S.C. As a breeding and training facility for a variety of animals, the farm provides a unique opportunity to observe the compatibility of diverse species.

Visitors will be able to watch, listen to, interact with and learn from a variety of animals. With over 120 animals, representing 14 species of livestock and domestic animals, children- and adults- can observe first hand the interaction of humans, animals and the land.

With a focus primarily on fiber animals, the farm now offers educational opportunities to learn more about the fiber arts with hands -on classes for those interested in learning 'beyond' hoof to handspun.


* Contact us for information or scheduling a class - from fiber prep to dyeing, spinning (spindle or wheel), weaving (tablet, disc, inkle and rigid heddle loom), felting (wet or needle, flat or 3-D), hooking, etc - if it's fiber, we love re-creating it !
